Cascade tied Lebanon, 1 – 1.

Soccer - Boys
Cascade lost to Northwest, 4 – 3.

Plainfield defeated Mooresville, 1 – 0.

Volleyball
Avon Varsity defeated Noblesville 25 - 11, 25 - 17, 22 - 25, 25 - 10 to run their record to 18 - 0 and 6 - 0 in conference.  The Orioles were led by 23 kills by Katie Griffin, 10 kills by Ashley Francis. Holly Wasmund counted six kills, 38 assists, and four assist blocks.  The varsity has recently moved up in the national rankings to #24.  They play this weekend in the Muncie Invite in which #28 in the nation Muncie Central and #12 in the nation Elkhart Memorial are possible matchups.  The JV fell 0-2, and the freshman lost a heartbreaker 1-2.

Danville defeated Southmont, 5 – 2.

Brownsburg defeated Lafayette Jeff, 2 – 0.

Danville lost to Speedway, 3 – 0.

Tri-West defeated Bethesda Christian, 5 – 0.  Matt Moore scored twice.

Tennis
Plainfield defeated Avon, 5 – 0.  See story.

Volleyball
Avon defeated Danville, 25-19, 25-13, 25-12 behind six kills from sophomore Caselyn Harding, seven kills from freshman Katie Higginbotham, three kills from freshman Jill Steinmetz, and 15 assists from freshman Maddison Reeves.  This runs the varsity record to 17-0 with their next match at Noblesville on Thursday.

Brownsburg defeated Cascade, 25 – 15, 25 – 20, 25 – 11.

Plainfield defeated Mooresville, 25 – 18, 21 – 25, 25 – 17, 25 – 21.

Danville defeated Lebanon, 4 – 2.  Danni Bishiop counted two goals and an assist.

Plainfield defeated Greenwood, 4 – 0.  Kelli Kern scored twice.

Tri-West defeated North Montgomery, 10 – 0.

Avon lost to Zionsville, 3 – 2.

Soccer - Boys
Cascade lost to Martinsville, 3 – 1.  Cadet Dylan Alltop tallied the lone Cascade goal with an assist from Colin Ernst.

Cross Country
At the Franklin Central Invitational
In the Blue Division, Brownsburg, girls finished 5th, boys finished 11th.
In the Green division, Avon girls finished 8th, boys finished 11th;
            Plainfield girls finished 14th, boys finished 10th;
            Danville girls finished 17th, boys finished 18th.

Football
Avon defeated Brownsburg, 30 – 7.  Oriole Darren Oliver scored 18 points on runs of 2, 41 and 2 yards, respectively.  Levi Atwood booted three PATs and a field goal for 6 points. 

Danville lost to Whiteland, 40 – 7.

Tri-West defeated Southmont, 30 – 14.

Plainfield defeated Martinsville, 41 – 25.

Cascade lost to Cloverdale, 30 – 14.

Golf
Sectional Results
Avon placed 2nd; led by Brianna Patz 67, and will advance as a team to regional competition.
Plainfield finished 3rd paced by Leah Miller shooting a 75, and will advance as a team to regional play.
Brownsburg finished 5th, with Alicia King carding an 80 to advance to regional play as an individual.

Soccer - Boys
Avon defeated Zionsville, 2 – 1.

Tri-West defeated Southmont, 2 – 0.

Brownsburg finished 3rd.
Avon finished 10th.
